Replace Outdoor Flood Lighting & Insulation for Roof Compressors

Scope of Work

Bids are being requested for the repair or replacement of outdoor wiring and light fixtures for 9 floodlights on the outside of our single-story office building, as well as the proper insulation of cables for 4 heating and cooling unit compressors on the building’s roof.

Bid Due Date:

Sealed Bids for this projectare to be emailed as a PDF attachment to crotondo@daretowin.org by February 10th 2023 at 5 pm. No bid will be accepted after that time and date.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be at DARE, 340 Lockwood Street Providence, RI 02907 on Thursday, January 26th 10 am – 1 pm.

Prospective bidders are required to attend this conference to clarify bidding requirements, details of the documents, and view the project site. If a contractor submits a bid but did not attend the pre-bid conference, their bid will be disqualified.

Special Federal CDBG Requirements

The prospective bidder must submit the contracting provisions with all completed forms in accordance with all applicable federal/local regulations and guidelines included with the Federal Construction Contract Provisions attached hereto. All bids must include costs for all applicable permits.

All bidders must review and complete these required forms for their bids to be considered “responsive”. Davis Bacon wages rates apply to the entirety of the project (BUILDING Rate). Attached is the current wage decision that must be used in your bid.

All prospective bidders must identify and complete the Prime/Subcontractor forms in the Federal Construction Contract Provisions at the time of submission of bid and include a copy of their valid Contractors Registration and applicable insurance.
