Each year, we come together as a community to share warmth, connection, and solidarity by sending thoughtful holiday messages to people inside the ACI. Whether you’re a longtime participant or joining us for the first time, this event is a meaningful way to spread hope, remind people they’re not forgotten, and build community during the holiday season. All materials are provided—just bring your energy, your compassion, and your handwriting!

DARE’s Behind the Walls Committee invites you to roll up your sleeves and help us make a difference in our community! On Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM (rain date: September 26), we’ll be gathering in the Hartford Projects area (near theAchievement First Providence Mayoral Academy Middle School) to clean up, connect, and care for our neighborhood. It’s a great opportunity to meet neighbors, take pride in our community, and work together for a cleaner, brighter space for everyone.
